Wholesalers and retailers who sell products subject to the private copying remuneration are responsible for paying the remuneration in the occurrence that the remuneration has not been previously paid by the importer or domestic manufacturer. The wholesalers and retailers have the duty to prove that the remuneration has been paid, when requested by the Private Copying Unit. If a wholesaler or a retailer is subjected to pay the remuneration, they have the right to be reimbursed by the importer or the manufacturer.
